Canada Post Service Interruption

OCH would like to notify tenants that Canada Post is experiencing a labour disruption, effective September 25, 2025. Mail and parcels will not be delivered, and no new items will be accepted. You can find more information on Canada Post’s website.

We ask all tenants NOT to send their rent cheques and money orders by mail until further notice. Other payment options are available. Please see other available options here.

SOMERSET RENEWAL

214 Somerset Street East

Background

The subject development site is located at 214-224 Somerset Street East, next to the Sandy Hill Community Centre. Originally built in 1902, the now vacant building once provided 45 one-bedroom homes and is at the end of its life cycle.

OCH plans to demolish the vacant building and redevelop a new four-story building with 23 studio homes.  This building will offer supportive housing, with design considerations for programming space.
